#81 - DAY 05 – When “cute” takes a turn

Today’s Easter Countdown mission is clear: Send a cute message for Easter. Simple, sweet… or so Lily thought.

Instead, she unlocks her phone and—bliep—a message pops up: “Hoppy Easter. I’m watching you. Your eggs won’t save you.” No name. Just a creepy bunny GIF blinking way too slowly.

Lily blinks. “Excuse me?” She spends the day puzzled. Who would send this? Should she be worried? Is it a prank? A threat?

Later, she casually brings it up at the kitchen table. The kids exchange glances. Suspicious glances. Jack suddenly finds the salt shaker fascinating. Ella bites her lip. Jules snorts into his water.

That’s when it hits her.

“You three did this?” They burst out laughing. “We saw the ‘cute message’ mission and thought… let’s scare mom!”

Lily rolls her eyes and laughs. “Well played. But next time? Less horror movie, more Easter bunny.”
