#67 – When your selfie gets photobombed

Lily adjusts the yellow flower in her hair, tilts her head just right, and smiles. Perfect.
“Spring is here! Easter is coming! I just LOVE this season! 🌼💛 #HelloSpring #EasterVibes”, she typed. Click. Post. Done.
Feeling accomplished, she puts her phone down—just as her son Jack comes thundering down the stairs. “MOM! FREEZE!”
Lily blinks. “What? Why?”
Jack points at her head, eyes wide. “There’s something in the flower!”
“What do you mean—”, frowns Lily. Then she feels it. Tiny legs. Moving. Near her ear.
“AAAAHHH!” She flails wildly, sending the flower flying. A weird, hairy insect tumbles onto the counter. Jack screams. Lily screams. Even the bug looks mildly offended.
Just then, Ella walks in. “Mom… your selfie!”
Lily grabs her phone in horror. Yep. There it is. A perfect selfie. With one tiny detail—the insect in the flower.
The comments are rolling in. “Beautiful! But… uh… what’s that thing in your hair? 😂” “Omg, your hair looks so cute! But… uh… what is that??”, “Is that a BUG??”, “LOL, SPRING CAME WITH EXTRA FRIENDS 😂😂”
Lily groans. Jack grins. “Well, at least your post is getting lots of attention!”
“So… do I delete it, or embrace my new career as the ‘Bug Lady of Instagram’?”
