
#27 - Week 1 – Water Challenge

A 10-week challenge will do her good, Lily decides. “Week 1 – drink at least 8 glasses of water a day,” it says. “Alright, go!” she cheers herself on. She quickly downs a glass of water, but—pfff—water is just water, she thinks. Her eyes land on the orange proudly sitting in the fruit bowl. She slices it into pieces and drops them into a water jug. Let it infuse for a bit, and… mmmm… almost ready to hydrate like a pro.
“Or… um… fruit ice cubes! That works too!” she says aloud. She writes down “lemon, berries, strawberry, kiwi, mint” on her shopping list. She already feels like a real hydration influencer.
With a triumphant smile, she drinks her second glass. She texts her friend Sophie: “Want to join the 10-week challenge? Starting this week, drink at least 8 glasses of water daily!”
“Sure! As long as wine counts as water! 😊” comes the reply. Haha! Classic Sophie… but sadly, no!
