#35 - Challenge Week 2 – Give it a try!

For her second challenge, “Let’s get moving,” Lily decides to try yoga—why not? “How hard can it be?” she thinks, imagining herself gracefully stretching and finding her inner peace.

She sets the mood: dim lighting, calming music, and her dusty old yoga mat. The video begins with a cheerful instructor welcoming her to the “Beginner Flow.”

“Mountain pose,” the instructor says soothingly. Lily stands tall, feeling confident. “This is easy!” she whispers to Charlie, her dog, who watches carefully.

Then comes the lunge. “Feel the stretch,” the instructor coos. Lily wobbles, arms flailing. “Feel the burn, you mean!” she mutters.

Next is downward dog. As Lily bends over, Charlie crawls under her and sprawls out. “Charlie, move!” she laughs, nearly toppling over.

By the end, she’s sweaty, tangled in her mat, and far from graceful. But she feels proud. “Yoga’s no joke!” she says, patting Charlie. “Tomorrow, we’re mastering this together!”
