Lily stands in front of the TV, yoga mat unrolled, sneakers ready, and a 15-minute workout video queued up. “Every day,” she reminds herself, feeling determined yet slightly hesitant.
The first two days went great—she powered through lunges and even managed a solid plank. But today? Her motivation is gone. “Maybe I’ll skip…” she mumbles, eyeing the couch.
Ella walks in, arms crossed. “No yoga today, Mom? You promised.”
Lily sighs, then grins. “You’re right. Join me?”
They giggle through the routine, with Ella dramatically exaggerating every move. By the end, Lily is sweaty, laughing, and glad she showed up. One pose at a time, the habit is forming.
