#60 - What’s that one trip you’ve been dreaming about forever?

For Lily, it’s always been Italy—cycling through Tuscany, twirling forkfuls of pasta in Rome, watching the sun melt into the Amalfi Coast. But somehow, the trip always stayed in the someday category. Too exhausting with three kids, too expensive, too hot in summer… too many excuses. 

Today, she decides to change that. She grabs a notebook and writes: Italy, Summer 2026. A plan needs a date, right? She lists ideas—places to visit, things to try, even a savings goal. Suddenly, it feels real. 

That evening, she tells her husband Ben and the kids Ella, Jules and Jack. Their eyes lit up. “Cool! But when? This summer, right?” Ella asks.

“Not this summer, next summer,” Lily smiles. Now that she has started planning, nothing is stopping her. What is stopping you?
