#78 – DAY 08 - Double surprise

Today’s Easter Countdown mission: surprise a friend. Easy, right?

Lily had the perfect idea—a sweet little bunny-shaped chocolate, wrapped in gold foil, delivered like a sugary ninja surprise. She even tied a tiny note to its ear: “Some bunny loves you!”

Only… who to surprise?

She stares at her phone. Sophie? Or maybe her sister Lisa?  Her parents? Oh wait—what about the neighbor who brought soup that one time? Every name feels like a gamble. What if someone doesn’t get a bunny and finds out?

Thirty-five minutes of overthinking later, she finally decides: Sophie. Definitely Sophie.

She turns to grab the bunny. Gone.

“ELLA!” Ella looks up mid-bite, cheeks full. “What? I thought it was just… festive chocolate?”

Lily groans. Mission Bunny: postponed due to nibbling.
