#91 – Chasing summer: Lily’s mission to find the sunshine

Clouds. Again.
Lily stands by the window, her mug of lukewarm tea in hand, watching raindrops race down the glass. It is supposed to be nearly summer. But outside? Grey, chilly, blah. The kind of weather that makes you question everything—including your wardrobe choices and life decisions.
“I just want to feel the sun on my face,” she mutters, pulling her cardigan tighter.
Now, don’t get her wrong. Her friends and family? Absolute rays of sunshine. Yes, they lit up her world. Always.
But Lily needs something to break the routine. Something to look forward to. Something fun.
So, she grabs a notebook and scribbled three words in big, bold letters: COLOR MY SUMMER.
That is where it all started. It wasn’t a plan. Not yet. But it was a start. A promise to herself: If summer won’t come to me, I’ll create it. One splash of fun, brightness, or adventure at a time. Rain or shine.
Even if the sky stays grey a little longer… her summer has officially begun. ☀️
